Waiting on Wednesday #116

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Cassie's Waiting On:

The Becoming of Noah Shaw (The Shaw Confessions, #1)The Becoming of Noah Shaw (The Shaw Confessions #1) by Michelle Hodkin
Publication Date: November 7th, 2017

Synopsis:

In the first book of the Shaw Confessions, the companion series to the New York Times bestselling Mara Dyer novels, old skeletons are laid bare and new promises prove deadly. This is what happens after happily ever after.

Everyone thinks seventeen-year-old Noah Shaw has the world on a string. They’re wrong.

Mara Dyer is the only one he trusts with his secrets and his future. He shouldn’t.

And both are scared that uncovering the truth about themselves will force them apart. They’re right.

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for this book!! I was a HUGE fan of the Mara Dyer novels, so I've been waiting on this novel about Noah for so so long.  I honestly can't wait to see where Ms. Hodkin takes this book and new series, and I know it'll be just as addicting as the Mara Dyer series!

Jocelyn's Waiting On:

Three Sides of a Heart: Stories about Love Triangles by Natalie Parker (& other authors)
Publication Date: December 19th, 2017

Synopsis:

The anthology explores the myriad tragic, frustrating, humorous possibilities of the teen love triangle, and features 15 new stories by these authors.

I love reading about love triangles. I know that a lot of people hate that trope but I just find them so funny and entertaining. Plus, lets look at some of the authors: Veronica Roth, Sabaa Tahir, Rae Carson, Renee Ahdieh. I mean this could be iconic!
