Feature and Follow

It's Feature & Follow Friday hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read! You can join in and/or see all the blogs participating here.

This week's question:
Have you ever read a book you thought you’d hate but loved? Or vice versa?

Yes Yes Yes, a thousand times YES. I thought that I was going to hate Ugly Love. I ended up loving it, just like everyone else said I was going to! Leave a link to your Feature & Follow! :)

  1. It's only happened to me once both ways - I loved a book I thought I'd hate, and I hated a book I thought I'd love.

  3. I love those surprises where a book you don't have much hope for ends up surprising you. I think those are the best!

  4. Nice! Not sure I know of that one, but I do love when you think you might not like a book, but you read it anyway for whatever reason, and then you love it! Best feeling ever!

    1. That doesn't happen to me often because why would I want to read a book I think I'll hate? But since everyone I know liked this book, I thought I'd give it a try :)

  6. Lol, right?! The romance was so dysfunctional and I wanted to slap the guy for being such a douche and the girl for letting him be a douche, but it was such an entertaining and "ugly" read.. I loved it!

  7. It's usually an issue of thinking I'm going to love it and then being very disappointed. I've had three of those in the last two weeks. Luckily it doesn't happen often. New follower.
